RECOVERY

Our Reach and Send Ministries stretche their arms to the community, especially the non-religious or nominally religious people, so they Recovery support groups, as well as addiction recovery groups, can be found at HUMC. Our current recovery support groups include GriefShare and Divorce Care. The current addiction recovery groups include, but are not limited to, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)NAALANON, and SA. All these groups ensure anonymity and offer a traditional 12-step model that has been expanded and developed for people with varied substance abuse issues. Meeting at various days and times, these groups are available for anyone who desires to attend whether a member or not of Hermitage United Methodist Church.

GRIEFSHARE

GriefShare is a 13-week program facilitated support group and is held at the Belinda Campus. These meetings are held three times a year – fall session (September), winter session (January), and summer session (as needed) on Sunday afternoons from 3 – 5 p.m.

DIVORCE CARE

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly, at the Belinda Drive campus, to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a ministry for hurting people who are on a journey toward wholeness; seeking recovery from and celebrating God’s healing of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Trained leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered groups where people can grow.
