WELCOME

If this is the first time you are checking us out, we are so thrilled you have found your way to Hermitage United Methodist Church. Whether through our website, our disciples, or our community events—whatever brought you here was designed to be a way for us to get to know one another.

Whether you’re single, married, single again, with or without kids, young or old—no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done—we invite you to experience freedom, new life, and fulfillment with us at #HermitageUMC!

HUMC began in 1933 and we’ve grown and changed just about as much as you have throughout life! Today, our mission is to build a Christian community where believers and non-believers will become fully devoted disciples of Christ. That means that if you have never stepped foot inside of a church or maybe began going the Sunday after you were born, you’re safe to explore your faith at HUMC.

At HUMC, there is no dress code. You’ll see some people in suits and others in jeans and a t-shirt. Wear whatever makes you comfortable!

Sundays are the most eventful day of the week for our kiddos. We offer Sunday Kids Church for ages 3 – Grade 5 and a nursery for infants and toddlers. Kids also are invited to participate and serve as acolytes in our services! We also offer fun activities for our young ones on Wednesday nights while the adults are in classes.
