Through the SEND Ministries at HUMC, we provide, prayer, leadership and support for the HUMC mission ministries. We train equip and send God’s people to make the realities of heaven the realities of earth. How do we do this? By our support of short-term mission projects and mission partners, sending teams on mission trips.

MALAWI
Through partnerships with other UMC churches, HUMC assists with providing wells and building childcare facilities. We send teams and funds to Malawi, Africa and would love to have you journey with us!
ASP MISSIONS TRIPS
We send mission teams to areas of the country that need assistance with home rehabilitation in their community or recovery from disasters. Our teams work through UMCORE and Appalachia Service Project (ASP). Our teams usually spend 6 – 7 days away and you can be involved! God has blessed each person with different skills and all of them are useful in mission work.
PROJECT CURE
Project CURE is a non-profit agency that identifies, solicits, collects, and distributes medical supplies and services according to the imperative needs of the world. Since its inception in 1987, Project CURE has delivered medical relief to needy people in more than 120 countries. Although its headquarters are in Colorado, Project CUREs Nashville warehouse is their largest center, servicing the Eastern US to prepare supplies for shipping.
